Individual and Couples Therapy
Life transitions and changes can be a deeply personal and often overwhelming journey.
The emotional toll can impact your mental health, your relationships, and your overall well-being.
Whether you’re navigating the complexities of trying to find your way, coping with grief or loss, experiencing infertility, or facing the strain changes place on your marriage,
you don’t have to go through it alone.
I offer compassionate therapy for individuals and couples who are experiencing infertility, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.

As a psychologist who has personally walked the path of each of these challenges, I provide a safe space for you to process your emotions, develop skills to restore your mental health, and strengthen your relationships.

How I Can Help
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy focuses on your personal mental health and emotional well-being. Together, we can work through:
-
Anxiety and depression: Address the racing thoughts, overwhelming feelings, sadness, worry, and avoidance.
-
Grief and loss: Process the pain of loss or unmet expectations.
-
Relationships: Restore good boundaries and strengthen your support system.
-
Stress management: Develop coping strategies to reduce stress and improve your overall quality of life.
-
Self-compassion: Rebuild your confidence and find hope amid uncertainty.
Couples Therapy
When you are in a relationship, you're emotional and mental difficulties don't just affect you—they impact your spouse. Couples therapy provides tools and support to help you and your partner navigate challenges in life together. Some concerns we can work on include:
-
Communication: Understand challenges with your communication and learn how to express your needs and emotions openly and empathetically.
-
Conflict resolution: Uncover barriers to your communication that may lead to conflict, and learn ways to manage your emotions and responses during difficult conversations and disagreements that may arise.
-
Intimacy and connection: Process emotions and unhelpful thought patterns that hinder emotional and physical closeness.
-
Teamwork: Uncover insights into your relationship dynamics that may be hindering unity, and strengthen your bond as a team, even during the hardest moments.
-
Faith and spirituality: Navigate spiritual challenges, strengthen your faith, and find peace and comfort in the Lord.
Please note, none of the topics listed above are restricted to individual or couples therapy, and they are not the only topics that can be discussed in therapy.

Payment
I accept all major credit cards as well as HSA/FSA cards as forms of payment.
How many sessions will I need?
This will depend on your therapy goals. We will go over this during your first session after discussing what you are hoping to get out of therapy.
What if I want individual and couples therapy?
We can do that! We will discuss this during our first session together.
It's common that one person starts off in individual therapy and realizes they want some sessions with their spouse, and we add those sessions in!
Other times, couples start off in couples therapy and one may want more help in a specific area and schedule a few individual sessions. We add those in as needed.
